Razorback Regional Greenway Grand Opening

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A ribbon cutting ceremony and series of events will be held on Saturday, May 2 to commemorate the grand opening of the completed Razorback Regional Greenway trail, stretching 36 miles from Bella Vista to Fayetteville. Fayetteville citizens are encouraged to run, walk, or bike along the Greenway to events and the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Arkansas Missouri Railroad passenger train and Ozark Regional Transit will also provide free transportation to and from grand opening events.

The City of Fayetteville has organized a 9:30 a.m. kick-off event at the intersection of W. Dickson Street and the Frisco Trail - beginning with a Bike Month proclamation read by Mayor Lioneld Jordan and followed by a group bike ride and train ride to the 12 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony at Shiloh Square in downtown Springdale. Come ride the train with Mayor Jordan and others!

A full list of events, transit schedules, maps, roster of partners, and volunteer opportunities can be accessed at www.razorbackgreenway.com.

We hope to see you there!
