Lower Ramble Invasive Plant Removal

Come out for a fun opportunity to tour the Lower Ramble while helping to protect and encourage native vegetation in the heart of Fayetteville's Downtown Entertainment District. Volunteers will learn to identify and help to remove invasive plants growing in the park; no experience is necessary!
Please park at the Fayetteville Public Library’s south parking lot. We will meet at 4:00 for a quick introduction and demonstration, then walk west across the trail and down to the worksite.
Water, gloves and tools will be provided. Much of the work-area is sloped, so please wear sturdy, ankle supportive, closed-toe shoes.
Rain Date: If it is raining at 3:30 on Wednesday, Feb. 22, we will reschedule to Thursday, Feb. 23, 4-6.
