Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Therapy is a research-based holistic practice which uses immersion in natural environments to enhance health and wellness. Health benefits include reduced stress, improved mood and sleep and increased immune functioning. Join Forest Therapy Guide Emmie Brenzel for a slow walk in the Fay Jones Woods and the Lower Ramble to create a mindful connection with nature. There will be opportunities to observe, listen, and engage silently with nature and share together as a group if you choose. Please dress for the weather with layers recommended. Activities will be leisurely and do not generate heat.
In the event of rain, the walk will take place the following day on Friday December 9 from 1-3 pm.
