West Fork White River Cleanup: Pick Up Where You Play

Help clean up streamside areas to protect our local waterways!

Details: The Beaver Watershed Alliance will host the West Fork – White River Cleanup on Saturday, October 8 in partnership with multiple community partners. Volunteers will help remove litter and bulky waste in the West Fork watershed, sub-watershed of Beaver Lake. 

Where: Fayetteville: Walker Park Large Pavilion,  10 W 15th St, Fayetteville, AR 72701  (36.049450, -94.159028)
There will be multiple cleanup options ranging from trail, land, in-stream. 


What is provided: Gloves, tools, water, snacks, and cleanup supplies will be provided.

What to bring/wear: Dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and protective clothing; hip-waders and muck boots are encouraged for those wanting to participate in in-stream cleanup areas. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle.

This event is part of Pick Up Where You Play, a series of cleanups happening in Washington and Benton Counties this fall.  All participants 18 and older will be entered to win a grand prize of a 2-night cabin stay and float trip for 4 people at Gracie's Canoe and Camp in Pineville, Mo. on the Elk River!
