2022 Earth Day Cleanup & Celebration!
Saturday, April 23, 2022
We are celebrating Earth Day by giving some love to Fayetteville's outdoors!
Join us at the Marion Orton Recycling Center for the Mayor's Earth Day Proclamation followed by a family-friendly city-wide cleanup of our parks, lakes, streams, trails and streets. If you have a special spot you’ve been wanting to steward, now is your chance!
After the Mayoral Proclamation, volunteers will be given supplies and a cleanup destination. Snacks and coffee will be available at kickoff, and t-shirts and Recycle Something gear will be given out at the end of the event.
Please park across North Street at St. James Missionary Baptist Church (we thank them for use of the lot) and carpool if possible.
