Hazardous Materials, Tires and Electronics
Hazardous Materials are ignitable, reactive, toxic, or corrosive. Materials that have these characteristics cannot be disposed of through normal trash collection. They are unsafe for humans, animals, and the environment. Never dispose of hazardous items in the trash, down drains and sewers, or into the environment.

At the corner of S. Happy Hollow and 15th St. in Fayetteville.
Hours of Availability
The hazardous waste drop-off trailer is available every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please see below the list of materials accepted at the trailer. There is no cost to drop hazardous waste here.
Note: We do NOT accept electronics or latex paints at the trailer in Fayetteville.
Hazardous Waste Collection Center (Prairie Grove)
The Boston Mountain Solid Waste District operates a year-round Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Center in Prairie Grove where residents can drop off many hazardous waste items for free or for a small fee. Please check the lists below to see items accepted at this site.

Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday 8 – 11 a.m.
