What is this Project?
The Bryce Davis master plan is being updated to help guide improvements scheduled for 2024. Feedback from the community will be used to update the master plan and prioritize improvements that will be made to the park. This project is partially funded by the Park Improvement Bond approved by Fayetteville residents in 2019.
Why is it Important?
Bryce Davis is one of Fayetteville’s community parks offering amenities, such as the IAMS dog park, a playground, restroom, pavilions, pond and open space for residents. Improvements will refresh older park amenities and add new ones for the enjoyment of the community.
What is the Current Status?
The master plan is underway and in the community engagement phase. The master plan will help prioritize improvements to be made to the park in 2024.
Engagement Opportunities
A drop-in planning meeting will be held on Monday, August 28 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Bryce Davis Park. The event will take place near the playground area at 1595 N. Dartmouth Drive. A drafted master plan for the park will be shown, and City staff will be on hand to discuss findings from previous public park-planning sessions and an online questionnaire.
For those unable to attend the meeting, another online questionnaire will be posted to Speak Up Fayetteville, the city's online engagement portal, starting Monday, August 28.
