Youth Soccer Overview
Fayetteville Parks and Recreation offers a recreation youth soccer program for girls and boys ages three to sixteen. The program emphasizes an environment that is fun for all ages and skill levels. The program aligns with the following core values: Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Emphasize Fun and Skill Development.
Teams are randomly assigned.
Ages: 3-16 years of age
We offer a 'First Touch' soccer program for those with birth dates between August 2018-July 2019.
Where: All games and practices will be played at Kessler Mountain Regional Park, located at 2600 W. Judge Cummings Rd.
Why: The core values for the youth soccer program: Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Emphasize Fun and Skill Development.
Registration: Includes Jersey, Shorts, and Socks or a t-shirt for First Touch participants. All players will need to purchase shin-guards as those are mandatory for practices and games. Once team assignments are made and uniforms ordered, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cost: $70-$90
Schedules: Teams play twice a week based on their league and gender. (Note: schedules are subject to change). The First touch program will play once a week for seven weeks.

Pagnozzi Parker Scholarships
Apply for a Pagnozzi Parker Scholarship for financial assistance.
A Pagnozzi Parker Scholarship should be filled out at least two weeks before the early spring soccer registration deadline.
1. Call the Parks and Recreation office (479) 444-3471 to have staff help you fill out a soccer registration form.
2. Turn in a completed Pagnozzi Parker Scholarship form and a copy of the Soccer Registration receipt to Pagnozzi Parker Charities.
3. We wait to hear back from Pagnozzi Parker Charities whether the scholarship has been approved.
Recreation program registrations are non-refundable. Requests for refunds in exceptional cases may be considered on a case by case basis in the circumstance of: relocation, medical condition, or injury, or as stated in the specific program refund policy. Approved refunds are subject to a 10% administrative fee. All requests for refunds must be made within 60 days of the original transaction and must be within the same calendar year.
Youth soccer registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable after the early registration deadline. If you register for the full year and choose not to participate in spring soccer, no refund will be given. All refunds will accrue a 10% administrative fee.

First Touch
Our First Touch Program is an introductory program for children whose date of birth falls between August 2018 - July 2019. A variety of activities and drills are used to introduce the fundamentals of soccer. Children in First Touch will play once a week for seven weeks. They will attend the session day and time they registered for. Each session consists of 25-35 participants and is instructed by Parks and Recreation staff in groups of 8 or less. All sessions will be played at Kessler Mountain Regional Park.
