Stream restoration project that would address major erosion currently damaging private property in the area just west of Sandpiper Drive (Ward 3).
Why is it Important?
This project would help alleviate the continued erosion and loss of private property as well as reduce the amount of pollutants being discharged into our streams and waterbodies.
What is the Status?
the City has worked with the Watershed Conservation Resource Center in order to develop a grant application to help offsite construction costs, and is currently awaiting determination of available grant funding to aid with construction.
Design and construction are scheduled to be completed by Fall 2022.
How is it Funded?
Funding for the project comes from the Bond Issue approved by voters in April 2019.
