Tree Preservation and Landscape Manual

On May 18, 2016, the Urban Forestry Advisory Board approved updates to the Tree Preservation Landscape Manual.

Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs and the Sustainability and Resilience Department have worked together to update and recreate the City of Fayetteville Landscape and Tree Preservation Manual.

The original Landscape and Tree Preservation Manual was created in 1999, updated in 2006 and was 108 pages in length. The current manual has been condensed to 30 pages and was created to help individuals applying for the urban forestry review process.

The new Landscape and Tree Preservation Manual contains applicable background information, definitions, flow charts, lists of submittal requirements, tree calculators and examples of design details in an easy to read format. Online, the manual is interactive with calculators and a Landscape Surety Form available for download.
