Ladies Du Fayetteville
This seventh annual event will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 7:00am at the Lake Fayetteville Marina. The atmosphere of the Ladies Du Fayetteville is a unique multi-sport race experience for women athletes. We welcome women, non-binary, and gender non-conforming athletes to participate in the Du. We look forward to planning this one-of-a-kind duathlon.
The duathlon will follow a traditional run/bike/run format with the distances being 2 miles/11 miles/2 miles. The race will take place at Lake Fayetteville utilizing the paved trails around and near the lake. Participants can race as individuals or as a relay team of two or three.

Registration
Registration for the 2023 Ladies Du Fayetteville will open on February 1.
Individual - $50
Relay (2 person) - $90
Option 1: one runner, one cyclist
Option 2: one run / bike, one bike / run with the bike portion split equally in distance
Relay (3 person) - $135 (1st runner, cyclist, 2nd runner)
Registration includes: Athletic (sleeveless) top, finisher medal, electronic chip timing, photo downloads! Online registration will close at 12pm on Friday, June 9. In-person registration is available at Packet Pick Up on Friday evening. Find those details on the "Race Details" tab.
Packet Pick Up
Your goody bag and timing device will be available for pick up on Friday, June 9. Packets not picked up Friday can be picked up at the start (Lake Fayetteville Marina) on Saturday (June 11) from 5:45-6:45am.
Transition Area
The transition area will be open from 5:45am-6:50am. This is where you will rack your bike (with your helmet) and stage any other items you’ll need to transition from the run to the bike and from the bike to the run. During the race, there will be a Run In/Out end of the Transition Area and there will be a Bike In/Out end of the Transition Area. On the bike end, there will be “Mount Bike” and “Dismount Bike” signs to indicate where to begin/end riding. Volunteers will be in the Transition Area to assist with proper flow as well as to ensure that bike helmets are properly secured prior to exiting the Transition Area.
Post-Race
There will be refreshments available for participants after the race (fruit, bagels, water, beverages). In addition, there will be raffle prizes, a dance party, photo opportunities, and the awards ceremony. We anticipate starting awards around 9am.
Awards
All finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top three overall individuals and to the top three overall relay teams. Age group awards will be given to the top three finishers as well. Age groups are <14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, >70.
Course
The Ladies Du Fayetteville will utilize the paved trails in the Lake Fayetteville area, starting and ending from the Lake Fayetteville Marina.
The run course is an out and back on Clear Creek Trail. There will be a water station at the turnaround point. Run Course Map - Du 2022
