Fayetteville Race Series
Launched in 2015, the Fayetteville Race Series is comprised of annual events that vary between running, cycling, and multi-sport activities. Each event is different and offers something for everyone.
Race Director Opportunity
Parks, Natural Resources, and Cultural Affairs is currently seeking a temporary Event Coordinator to assist with organizing and directing the spring 2023 race series events. This temporary assignment includes oversight of the Square 2 Square Bike Ride (May 6) and the Ladies Du Fayetteville (June 10). Parks is looking for a qualified individual available March 1 - July 1. Hours per week vary over the 18 week assignment based on the event dates, but would average out to 15 hours per week. Pay rate is $17-19 / hour.

Volunteering
There are plenty of opportunities to be involved with the Fayetteville Race Series. Volunteers are key to successful events! Volunteer shifts and details are posted for each event on Give Pulse. No experience needed, just a friendly face and willingness to work!

What: The annual Frozen Toes 5K and 15K trail race.
When: January 21, 2023, 9:00am
Where: Kessler Mountain Trails
Details: Take a break from the pavement and give trail running a try.
Registration Opens September 1. Includes custom socks and finisher medals!
What: Square 2 Square Bike Ride
Enjoy 30 miles of greenway cycling through NWA!
When: May 6, 2023 and October 7, 2023
Where: Razorback Regional Greenway
Why: Celebrate what the greenway and our downtown squares offer the NWA area!

This ride requires registration and includes a tech t-shirt, goody bags, finisher medal, and more. Sign up at RegWiz
What: Ladies Du Fayetteville
Run, ride, run around beautiful Lake Fayetteville in this ladies only duathlon. The runs will be 2 miles each and the bike will be 11 miles.
When: June 10, 2023.
Where: Lake Fayetteville (Marina / Boat Docks)
Who: Individual and Relay options available

Fee: Includes sleeveless jersey, finisher medal, and race photos!
What: This 5K road race (run/walk) is sure to be jolly, with Lights of the Ozarks, Santa Claus, caroling, and classic "White Elephant" surprises where you never know what you're going to get and/or one's junk is another's treasure! New this year is the addition of a 1-Mile race.
When: Saturday, December 9, 2023
