City Implements “eUtility” Paperless Billing
for Water Sewer Services and Recycling and Trash Collection

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville is continuing to upgrade its utility billing system. Customers can now view account activity and make payments online with “eUtility.” Utility accounts include commercial and residential recycling and trash collection as well as water and sewer services. The eUtility web portal allows customers to:
  • Pay utility bills online with credit or debit cards
  • Set up auto-payments
  • Receive email reminders
  • View consumption and account information
  • View and download past utility bills
  • Opt out of mailed paper bills
  • Manage multiple utility accounts with one user profile

Customers currently using automatic bank drafts (ACH), mail-in, in-person, or phone payments can continue to use these methods, but may choose to sign up for eUtility to use its features as well.

Customers who have been paying their utility bill online using the previous utilities customer portal (Paymentus) will need to create an eUtility account to continue paying their utility bill online. The old utilities customer portal (Paymentus) will be disabled on Monday, December 2, and automated payments through that system will be deactivated at that time.

Additional information and links to sign up for eUtility can be viewed at www.fayetteville-ar.gov/payutilitybill.

This enhancement is part of a multi-year upgrade of the City’s digital infrastructure, including both software and hardware. This summer, the City added new credit-card terminals to the cashier desks in City Hall so customers are no longer required to hand over their credit or debit cards when they make payments. These technology upgrades are part of Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan’s commitment to improving digital infrastructure and customer service. More information about the City’s technology improvement efforts can be found here.
