DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER

FAYETTEVILLE POLICE PARTICIPATE IN DRUNK DRIVING MOBILIZATION

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department will participate in the statewide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization.
Fayetteville police officers will be out in force to arrest anyone caught driving while impaired. The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization will take place June 29, 2018 through July 8, 2018.
The Fayetteville Police Department recommends these simple tips for a safe 4th of July celebration.

  • Plan a safe way home before the festivities begin.
  • Before drinking, designate a sober driver and leave your car keys at home.
  • If you’re impaired, use a taxi / transportation network company or call a sober friend or family member.
  • If you happen to see a drunk driver on the road, do not hesitate to contact your local law enforcement agency.
  • And remember, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.  If you know someone who is about to drive while impaired, take that person’s keys and help him / her make other arrangements to get home safely.
