Fentanyl Arrest

RE:  FOURTH JUDICIAL DRUG TASK FORCE ARREST MAN FOR MANUFACTURING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (SCHEDULE II)
 

 Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of an individual for multiple drug charges.           
  In cooperation with the Springdale Police Department, detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force (4th JDDTF) developed information that an individual was producing counterfeit Oxycodone pills using fentanyl as the active ingredient. 
            
 On April 5, 2018, 4th JDDTF detectives executed a search warrant at 1136 Pepper Tree Lane in Fayetteville. During the search, detectives located a pill press, colored binder and instructions to produce pills. Detectives also located LSD, alprazolam, zolpidem, and morphine.
            
  Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force detectives arrested Lewis Chafin Jr, 27, of Fayetteville for  Manufacturing a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Fentanyl, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Morphine, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Alprazolam, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – LSD, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver – Zolpidem.
 
  This investigation is ongoing. 

  The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of officer representing Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Springdale and West Fork Police Departments and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
